Dhadak: Farah Khan choreographs Hindi version of Zingaat' for Janhvi-Ishaan starrer

The film, to be helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, is slated for a July 20, 2018 release.

Mumbai: Nagraj Manjule’s 'Sairat', an universally acclaimed Marathi film is to be remade by producer Karan Johar as 'Dhadak'. With 'Dhadak', Bollywood fans are excited about the debut of two star kids Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor. The story of film's protagonists Archi and Parshya’s love set in the backdrop of rural Maharashtra won many hearts. The film was especially praised for it's great music. The song 'Zingaat' became a rage in no time.

It is going to be a daunting task for the makers of ‘Dhadak’ to recreate the magic of Sairat's music.

Recently Choreographer Farah Khan shared a photo on her social media account, in which she is seen posing with Dhadak’s director Shashank Khaitan. “Night shoot!! #comingoutofretirement for @shashankkhaitan .. @dharmamovies@karanjohar,” she captioned it.

According to a popular entertainment website, Farah Khan choreographed and shot the Hindi version of 'Zingaat' for the upcoming film. The lead pair, Janhvi and Ishaan, shot for the song last night.

While 'Sairat' was set in rural Maharashtra, 'Dhadak' is based out Rajasthan. The team has already finished first schedule of the film in Udaipur. The team is currently shooting at the suburban studio in the city.

To be helmed by 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania's Shashank Khaitan, the film is slated for a July 20, 2018 release.
