Hrithik Roshan misses out in 2018

The only big star missing in this list will be Hrithik Roshan, whose film on Anand Kumar has been postponed to January 2019 now.

Hrithik Roshan, known to be a perfectionist by nature, has been brushing up on a Bihari accent as he tries to master his role in his upcoming Anand Kumar biopic.

The year 2018 will have films from all the three Khans — Zero from Shah Rukh Khan, Thugs of Hindostan from Aamir Khan; and Race 3 and Dabangg 3 from Salman Khan. Ajay Devgn will be seen in Raid and an untitled film by Akiv Ali. Akshay Kumar has Pad Man, 2.0 and Gold.

Ranbir Kapoor has the untitled Dutt biopic, Varun Dhawan will be seen in October, as well as in Sui Dhaaga — Made in India. Shahid Kapoor’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu has also been scheduled for August 31.

The only big star missing in this list will be Hrithik Roshan, whose film on Anand Kumar has been postponed to January 2019 now. Hrithik’s film with Tiger Shroff for Yash Raj Films will also release in 2019, with Krrish 4 coming in 2020.

A trade source says, “Super 30 was earlier to arrive on November 23 this year. But  a lot of important films are slotted for the end of the year. This got the makers to push the film to January next year,” says a trade source.
