Sanju wants another biopic
If he didn't even like it that much, we wonder why he's pushing for a part two. These actors can be mighty greedy, we tell you.
The film Sanju has just released and actor Sanjay Dutt already wants another biopic to be made on him. He’s reportedly not satisfied with what director Rajkumar Hirani has depicted in this one.
“Sanjay Dutt has said that there should be a sequel to the film because he has many more stories to tell,” says a source.
Writer Abhijat Joshi also agrees that they’ve only been able to use a fraction of the material available to them on the actor. “We had 750 pages of material, out of which we made a 150-page film. We already have about 600 pages of material remaining,” he says.
But Rajkumar Hirani has clearly told Dutt and Ranbir, the actor who plays him in the biopic, that there will be no sequel. “A person can have only one biopic,” Hirani is said to have told Dutt, who has apparently been given a clean chit in the film.
Meanwhile, Dutt, who watched the film a few days ago, is said to have gone through it without expressing any emotion. “It was only when the film ended that he cried and hugged me and Ranbir,” Hirani confirms.
