Anil or Sanju for Pagalpanti?

We recently told you that filmmaker Anees Bazmee had signed the Dostana duo – Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham – for his next film, Pagalpanti. Now, we hear that the film will also feature a senior actor, and as of now, it’s a toss-up between Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.

Anil and Anees have collaborated on several projects in the past, including films like No Entry, Welcome and the more recent Mubarkaan. While Sanjay has worked with Anees in No Problem.

“It’s a question of dates and the actors’ availability. Ajay was supposed to do the role that John has stepped into. He and Anees have done several films together, including Hulchul and Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. But he had to back out because of date problems. Now, it remains to be seen if this film fits into Anil’s calendar or Sanju’s,” a trade source says.

Anees was also all set to helm No Entry Mein Entry, a sequel to his hit film No Entry, but the project never took off owing to Salman Khan’s busy schedule.
