Finally, as Race 3 has managed to come out of the cauldron after Salman Khan’s release from jail on bail, many film corporate houses are pitching in to take on the film for distribution and release.

We had told you earlier that there were three corporate houses, which had already pitched in with all their might for the distribution of the film before Salman’s conviction.

And now we hear that Salman has asked producer Ramesh Taurani to join hands not with a film corporate, but with a film production and distribution company (Read YRF).

“Salman was very happy with the way the second part of Ek Tha Tiger — Tiger Zinda Hai was released by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and made into a huge movie. Salman knows that since Race 3 is also a franchise, YRF can do a pretty good job of releasing it during Eid,” says a trade source, adding, “The film will release a week after Rajinikanth’s Kaala hits the screens. And it may also need a lot of screens in the B and C centers (smaller cities and towns), which is possible with a company that has grassroot distribution. However, it is still not confirmed if the deal with YRF is through.”

The offers for the film have started at Rs 120 crores, with Rs 150 crores being the highest bid so far.
