Abhishek Bachchan replaces Sushant Singh Rajput in RAW

Sushant Singh Rajput’s abrupt exit from the espionage thriller RAW, has left producer Bunty Walia Confused and at a loose end. However, that’s lasted only for a while.

A reliable source says that Abhishek Bachchan will play the RAW agent in the true-to-life espionage saga, to be directed by Robbie Grewal.

“I have no idea why Sushant opted out. I asked him and he gave us no answer. Maybe he didn’t like my face or my co-producer’s face. Or maybe he likes the faces of those whom he prefers to work with,” shrugs Bunty.

With Abhishek stepping in for the project, the film acquires a different hue. However, Sushant has said that he opted out of the film due to a date clash.

“Changes in the dates of my prior commitments, forced me to opt out of the film. It’s a great script and I genuinely wish director Robby, producer Bunty and the rest of the team all the very best for RAW,” said Sushant.
