Hrithik Roshan's next to be a comedy?
Karan Malhotra has finished writing his comedy film and has met Hrithik Roshan recently.
Much has been speculated about the fate of Karan Johar’s troubled project Shuddhi. First it was in the news for its constantly changing star cast, and then for the uncertainty of its filming.
For a long time, not much was heard about the project, but according to sources now, there are strong chances that the project has been shelved altogether. A source had told us earlier that Agneepath director Karan Malhotra, who was also supposed to helm Shuddhi was planning a rib-tickler instead. “Karan has kept the script for Shuddhi aside, and he’s planning a comedy film soon,” we were told.
Now we hear that Karan Malhotra has finished writing his comedy film and has met Hrithik Roshan recently. “The director has met junior Roshan and narrated the story,” says a source. “The actor has quite liked the idea but still hasn’t confirmed yet. The film is to be produced by Karan Johar.”
When contacted, a tight-lipped Karan Malhotra said, “I don’t want to confirm anything as of now. It’s too early. Karan Johar will announce it very soon.”
