Watch: Kriti-Ayushmann perfectly display small town romance in Bareilly Ki Barfi's song
Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana's Bitti and Chirag fall slowly and gradually in love in 'Nazm Nazm.'
Mumbai: Despite being a film with no stars, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' has generated buzz purely on the basis of its content.
Its quirky trailer revolving around the interesting love triangle between the characters of Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana was loved by all.
The first song ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ had brilliantly displayed a typical celebration in a middle class household, and the new song ‘Nazm’ also displays a typical blossoming romance in a small town.
Kriti and Ayushmann are a joy to watch writing love letters and blushing while reading them. However, it's not letters but Facebook which helps come together eventually.
From enjoying street side food to secretly checking mobile phone in the night, playing the game of lagori, chatting on the terraces of their houses, and dancing along with the baaraat, the picturisation of the song is just spot on.
Kriti’s Bitti is lovable as she gets angry at a lecherous guy or smokes into Ayushmann’s face.
Their story, however, is only till the character of Rajkummar Rao comes into the picture, which sends their relationship for a toss.
Arko impresses with his soothing music, vocals and lyrics in the song.
‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and penned by her husband and ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari along with Sreyas Tiwari is gearing up for release on 18 August.
