Fans were in for a treat when Robert De Niro made the cast of The Godfather an offer they can’t refuse — a classic reunion! On the closing night of the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday in New York, the star was seen sharing the stage with Bob, Al, Robert Duvall, James Caan, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and even the director of the film, Francis Ford Coppola.

The panel got together for a back-to-back filming of both the parts of The Godfather, as it was the 45th anniversary of the first film. TMZ.com reports that the cast shared interesting insights of what happened behind the scenes of the movies, including the story about the cat that wandered onto Marlon Brando’s lap, about how Al Pachino and Diane Keaton got drunk after the wedding scene, about the time that all of the stars ended up mooning each other, and also about Paramount’s reluctance to caste Al. However, the event proved to be tiresome for many, as it was wrapped up only after nine whole hours.
