Hit TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory is being held up for a two-season renewal, reportedly because its original cast members — Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Simon Helberg — want their co-stars Mayim Bialik (Amy) and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) to get paid more. According to Variety, the five original cast members now earn a reported $1 million per episode, while Mayim and Melissa only get $200,000 each. Kaley and co. Now reportedly are willing to get a pay cut of $100,000 each, so that the two new regulars can get a revised pay of about $450,000 each.
Sources say that it’s not clear if Mayim and Melissa will take the offer or hold out for equal pay.
