Diplo gig shut down

Star EDM producer Diplo had his pre-Super Bowl concert on Saturday night abruptly halted in the middle of his set, after “police” barged on stage and shut the gig down, after it went past the official time it was supposed to end.

According to TMZ.com, the Lean On hit- maker was performing at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston when security guards — who were mistaken for policemen at the time — went on stage and took the microphone away from him. The performance had begun after 1 am, so when the clock struck 2 am — the official closing time for the event — Diplo had no choice but to leave the stage.
