Tom Hanks has a secret' grandchild
Chet, 26, had trouble with drug addiction for a few years, but is now more than a year sober.
Actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Hilson reportedly welcomed a granddaughter into their lives eight months ago, after their son Chet and his partner Tiffany had the child in April this year.
A source told In Touch that Tom and Rita were really excited to have a new granddaughter, adding, “Tom’s had a lot of issues with Chet over the years, given Chet’s drug and alcohol issues, but this baby has changed all of that.”
Chet, 26, had trouble with drug addiction for a few years, but is now more than a year sober. The source added, “Chet’s now sober and is currently working as a drug counsellor. He lives in Santa Monica and pays $2,800 a month in rent, with the help of his dad. He’s telling everyone that this baby truly changed his life.”
