Delve into a world where science meets fiction in this all-new Netflix TV series, Lost in Space with bone-chilling scenes that it retained from the 1960s version of this series, but with a brand new retelling. Perfect for fans of Stranger Things, this dynamic narrative caters to lovers of emotionally available robots and family drama on a different planet.

The plot follows the plight of a family of five when an object from space crashes onto Earth which forces its inhabitants to flee by boarding the Resolute, a spaceship, to find a habitable planet. When the Robinson family becomes a part of the 24th mission of the Resolute, things go horribly wrong. The characters are refreshing to see as we watch them grow accustomed to the environment as well as fighting their own individual battles. John Robinson tries to mend his estranged relationship with his family as the show progresses, Maureen Robinson, the mother and aerospace engineer strives to bring her family together, Judy, the oldest child suffers from PTSD, Penny, a precocious teen and Will who befriends an alien robot who becomes a constant companion to Will and echoes the famous line that sets the tone of the series which is, “Danger, Will Robinson.”

The main element that sets this series apart is its slow paced sequence. Though some might lose interest with the numerous flashbacks and blatant family drama, it offers a unique twist with a nefarious character. The show gives off an E.T and Star Wars vibe
