Wedding bells ring for Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday and revealed that he got engaged to boyfriend Jwan Yosef. He wore his engagement ring on the show.

“We just got engaged. I proposed. I was really nervous. But I got on my knees and I took out — not a box — I just had them in a little velvet pouch,” he said.

The María singer began dating artist Yosef more than a year ago, according to People.com. Instead of asking the traditional “Will you marry me?” question, Martin said, “I got you something. I want to spend my life with you.” Yosef accepted his proposal and the couple are now living together.
