Aaron Carter attacked at performance

Pop singer Aaron Carter was attacked while performing on stage in Illinois by a fellow musician, who claimed that the singer had made a racial slur at him.

According to TMZ.com, the musician, who is of Hispanic descent, was part of the opening act, and after Aaron took stage, was messing around with fans and recording videos of the performance. When Aaron had security kick the guy out, he said, “Bye Felipe,” considered a racist phrase.

The musician took offence and later came back to the performance, jumped on stage and attacked Aaron, damaging his computer and a speaker. Aaron was taken to the hospital and police are said to be investigating the case.
