Avengers Infinity War BO collection day 1: The superhero ensemble earns Rs 31.3 crore
Avengers' huge numbers are unprecedented given that and it was a non-holiday release with only 2000 screens.
Mumbai: Hollywood's most-awaited superhero film 'Avengers: Infinity War' has taken a bumper opening of 70-75% and this is the highest occupancy seen in a long time. The film, which features all the superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), had a higher occupancy on day one than last years' blockbuster 'Baahubali - The Conclusion'. On its day one itself, the Marvel movie has surpassed all expectations by earning Rs 31.30 crore at the box office. The big-budget Hollywood film leaves this year's 'Padmaavat', 'Baaghi 2', and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' far behind in the box office race.
Hollywood was getting the upper hand in many clashes with Hindi films but these huge numbers are unprecedented given that and it was a non-holiday release with only 2000 screens.

The film is on course for the biggest weekend of the year also, although the collections will not grow that much as the film is already recording very high occupancy within it's limited screens.
