My mom has this uncanny ability of always being right. Also, if I'm under the weather or feeling low, she gets to know without me telling her, even if she’s sitting in Delhi.

Haha, that’s a good question. I adore my mother to the core but I am still scared of her, perhaps out of respect more than anything. My mum is very tone sensitive, so if you are speaking to her in a tone she is averse to, that’s it! Another quality that she has is her OCD. I always say that she is like Monica from Friends multiplied by 1,000. It’s an amazing quality because it means everything is always clean, maintained and organised. But it’s scary.

Ever since, I attained the ‘likable age’, my mother has had the ability to scare all my guy friends and ensure that they are friend-zoned. I remember how she gave a scary look to the boy who called himself my friend.

I have stopped introducing cute boys I like to my mom... just so that I can have a romantic life.

Rohan Mehra, actor
Her emotional blackmailing!! That’s the scariest one of them all! But I also find it absolutely adorable.

Vivek Dahiya, singer
Her patience. Because I can never understand how someone can be so, so patient. It’s scary.

Sandiip Sikcand, producer, actor and creative director
When someone takes her dabbas and does not return them. It’s trouble! My mother can call up the person and get really rude about not getting her dabbas back. It’s scary. Somehow if her son does not return home at night, she’s quite fine with that. But if her dabbas don’t come back, then only God can help.
