As a part of 21-day lockdown to stop the spread the COVID-19 pandemic, Tollywood stars, like all other Indians, have isolated themselves and are confined to their homes.

However, these celebs are making the most of this unscheduled break. They are indulging in things they have always loved but didn’t have the time for.

While some are busy gardening and even doing a bit of farming, others are indulging in reading, concocting home remedies, etc.

Green thumbs

Since his debut on social media a few of days ago, Chiranjeevi has been divulging details of his everyday life. As a part of his daily routine during the lockdown, the Megastar is doing some gardening. He has shared photos of himself engaged in this activity on Instagram.

“I believe in green living; it is something I learnt during my NCC training days. I get immense pleasure out of spending time in gardening; it is also one my stress busters,” explains Chiranjeevi.

He has been advising people to stay indoors during this period.

Focusing on health and fitness

For Tamannaah Bhatia, the lock down is an opportunity to focus on things she normally puts off due to ‘lack of time’. “I wanted to utilize this time to focus on my health, body, lifestyle, etc., and introspect and envision what I want from my life. I believe this is a great time to pamper myself, do things that I couldn’t do during my normal busy hours”, she says.

Tamannaah has been experimenting with home remedies for hair fall, fitness routines, and other lifestyle matters.

A spin on mundane chores

Adah Sharma is known to be a fitness freak. The '

Kshanam' actress reveals that she has decided to clean up her house, something which she otherwise has difficulty making time for, due to her busy schedule.

“Cleaning the house and mopping floors is now part of my daily routine,” Adah says. But she is adding her own spin to mundane chores.

“I thought working out while doing household chores is a fun way to beat the boredom,” she reveals, while urging everyone to stay home and collectively fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Back to books

Raashi Khanna was a geek in her college days; she was always surrounded by books. But after turning to acting, she hasn’t found time to get back to reading her favourite books. She is using this home quarantine period to revisit her old passion.

“I was such a bookworm that sometimes my parents would ask me, ‘why can’t you go outside?’ she laughs. Now it’s time to go back to old habits. I am reading The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It gives me the required boost to rejuvenate myself and beat any stress,”Raashi shares.

Working with nature

Prakash Raj had earlier revealed that farming made him more patient and peaceful. Now, while urging people to stay safe at home and support the lock down, the actor has shared photos of himself engaged in farming activities.

“I always wanted to connect with nature and I started to enjoy the experience after taking to farming,” Prakash Raj says. “Harvesting vegetables, farming and baking are how I am spending time indoors. I urge people to cooperate with the government and stay home safe,” he adds.

He also shares that his foundation has been actively helping and feeding the needy during these hard times.
