Face to face movie still.

Director: Sandeep Janardhan

Cast: Rohith Bhanuprakash, Divya Uruduga, Poorvi Joshi, Suchendra Prasad, Veena Sunder.

Unlike the regular ones comprising of a hero and two heroines which mostly leads to a romantic story, this experimental triangular plot comes with some good twists and turns, and they are surprisingly lovely too. Technically, the movie falls under the category of psychological thriller but the director creates a new kind of romance mixed well with suspense and drama.

Seems like the director Sandeep Janardhan has carefully learnt the tricks of unusual filmmaking while working as associate director with his mentor - real star Upendra. It definitely shows on the screen from intelligently etching the plot to sustaining the well crafted curiosity.

On the outset it looks like a regular romantic tale but the experimental factor gives it a whole new experience in the end.

An aspiring actor comes across two girls, as the emotional roller coaster takes off. However, before the audience feels for yet another triangular love story, one ends up getting pleasantly surprised as it hits the halfway mark. It sets the tone for a different experience.

It has pleasant visuals which are fixed well with decent editing to give the unusual storytelling some force to keep the audience engaged with some rapid twists in the tale. At times, it slides away but soon fall back on the track.

With hardly any unnecessary inclusions, the entertaining surprises coupled with dialogues and the performances of the characters elevates face to face to another level. There are also good number of negatives in the narrative when it starts throwing away too much of information but the end is what matters to make it a good watch.
