Lokesh Kumar, better known by his stage name L.O.C Checkrrr, is a rapper, who has worked with several Punjabi singers such as Rana Shaad, Pretty Bhullar, Romi Vee and Manjeet Singh. His new song — also his first Bollywood track — will be in Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Judwaa 2. A chat with Lokesh talks about his musical favourites:
What’s the one song you have on repeat on your iPod these days?

If you had to put together a soundtrack for your life, three songs that best describe your life would be?
Chandigarh Police by Pretty Bhullar, Blue Eyes by Honey Singh — I admire his style of music, and Backbone by Hardy Sandhu.

You’re happy and upbeat? Party All Night by Honey Singh.
You’re really low? Bol Do Na Zara by Armaan Malik.
You’re working out? Again, Chandigarh Police.
How would you describe your taste in music?
I’d say: Hip Hop, Punjabi and Bollywood.
Is there any music you used to love as a kid or a teenager that you're now embarrassed by when you think back?

What’s your favourite time/way to listen to music during the day?
Late nights and early mornings.
If you could have one band in the world/a musician perform a private concert for you, which one/who would it be?
I would love to see Drake performing live for me.
