Asha's birthday gift for Lata

India’s nightingale Lata Mangeshkar turned 89 this past Friday, and she celebrated the occasion with a family gathering. Sharing details, the singer’s sister Asha Bhosle says, “Lata is 4 years older than me. I had gifted her a bangle two months ago, and she wore it on her birthday. We had a family get-together at her place. It’s great fun to spend time with your siblings.”

Meanwhile, Asha also reveals that she’s happy that the #MeToo campaign is stirring up the nation. “It’s good that more and more women are speaking up. If they don’t talk, people on the other side will find an easy escape,” she says.
