Abhishek Mallik injured on sets of Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi

Abhishek Mallik, who plays the leading man in Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, showed rare professionalism while shooting an important sequence. Even though the actor got injured during the shoot, he managed to complete the sequence without paying much heed to the bruise.

It so happened that the actor was shooting his on-screen engagement with the cast. The scene required the young actor to save his fiancée Suman and her son Veer from a mandap that had caught fire because of his mother Sindoora’s evil schemes. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.  The sequence the entire canopy fell on him during the shot, causing Abhishek a serious head injury.

Sources from the sets tell us that the impact he had on the head was so intense that the actor fell down unconscious, leaving everyone in a state of panic. However, as soon as the actor regained his consciousness, and completed his shot and then decided to take a break, despite everyone’s advice.

Confirming the incident, Abhishek said, “I got completely immersed in the scene. Unfortunately the canopy’s iron rod hit my head.” The actor then decided to get on with the scene. He says, “I decided to finish the shoot as I could not let the others suffer. Many people work on per-day basis on the set. The cost of production shoots up if the sequence is not completed within the stipulated time frame. These kind of delays means a heavy loss, and everyone would have had a tough time because of that so I continued with the shoot.
