Akshay Dogra breaks down while shooting a scene

Akshay Dogra, who plays the antagonist Jagan Pawania in the show Waaris, recently had a tough time performing a scene. Akshay, who is a doting father to a toddler, was to treat a child in an unpleasant manner. The actor was almost inconsolable after acting out the scene.

The crew was taken aback by Akshay’s reaction, because they had never witnessed the actor this overcome with emotions. When we contacted Akshay, he said, “It was a disturbing sequence for me as I was imagined my son in that child’s place. Fatherhood has changed me a lot, and has also made me extremely vulnerable. I was struggling to perform that scene. After a point it got so unbearable that I could hold my tears no longer.”
