Damanpreet Singh and Tunisha Sharma are grabbing eyeballs as Ranjit Singh and Mehtab Kaur in period drama Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The teen actors, who have now graduated to the 10th grade are working hard to ensure that their academics aren’t hampered.

The Chandigarh-based kids are currently shooting at Amgaon, on the outskirts of Maharashtra. Since the teen actors are far away from their hometown, the team s making sure that they don’t miss out on their studies. A unit member from the sets of the show reveals that the team has hired a teacher to teach them on the sets of the show every day. When we contacted Tunisha, she said, “Yes, we have a teacher who comes on the sets. My education and the show are equally important and I am trying to balance the two. The cast and crew are adjusting. We are lucky to be able to manage both.”
