It’s that time of the year when children dress up in fancy clothes for school, and the youth change their display pictures to relive the time gone by. On Children’s Day, television stars share rare childhood pictures and get nostalgic about their fondest childhood memories.

Pooja Banerjee: This is my KG picture. That was my first stage performance ever. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it since I met with an accident. I was heart broken because I was looking forward to it. My mother still dressed me up as Goddess Lakshmi and took me for the event. This is my favourite childhood moment, since my mother made it a point that I could attend the event, even if I couldn’t perform. This picture always brings a smile to my face.

Raqesh Bapat: My fondest childhood memory is the time I spent with my nana-nani at their beautiful beach house in Chennai. They were great storytellers, so I loved going to their house in summer vacations with mom. My nani was also a great cook. I would sleep in her lap and listen to endless stories.

Mrunal Jain: I must’ve been about six or eight-years-old back then, when I was addicted to badam milk and vanilla ice cream. I would even throw a fit if my mother didn’t give it to me. Even while she was a strict disciplinarian, I was very possessive about her and would often demand to be by her side all the time. My father would always drop me to school, no matter how busy he was.

Priyal Gor: Childhood memories are always evoke a good feeling. The best part has to be the time I was selected for an acting project, since it was my mother’s dream I become an actress. Fulfilling that at a very young age made me feel proud. If given a chance to be a kid again, I would like to go to school again and enjoy a stress-free life with friends.

Sheena Bajaj: My fondest memory is working with great actors and learning from them. I’ve been working since I was a kid and it makes me feel content. The best part was working with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai, as well as working under the Bhatt banner. I enjoyed the time very much. Childhood days are the best since you get to enjoy a carefree life. I would love to go back and enjoy that state of mind.
