Farnaaz injured during an action sequence

With Waaris taking a leap, actress Farnaaz Shetty will be seen playing a grown up Manu. During a recent action sequence in the show, the actor injured herself and ended up with a wounded shoulder. The sequence required Farnaaz to ‘save a girl’ from the wrath of a raging bull. She had to pull the girl out in time and land on a haystack. The scene ended up having 12 retakes and in the process, gave Farnaaz a bad shoulder.

Says the actress, “I feel blessed to have got such an opportunity. I have always wanted to do stunts and as an actor, I am always open to experimenting with my role. I ensure that I deliver whatever is expected out of me. I don’t want to limit myself as an actor. My philosophy is simple — no pain, no gain. I’m experiencing it quite literally through Waaris.”
