Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai duo takes on-set salsa lessons

Televisions’s popular couple, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan, who play the roles of Naira and Kartik Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have discovered a rather unusual way to while away their time on the sets of the show. The self-confessed best friends have taken to learning salsa via YouTube videos on the sets of the show.

Mohsin shares, “Salsa is an extremely fun style to learn, and when I came across these tutorial videos, I immediately got Shivangi to view them. The next day we started rehearsing in our make-up rooms in between shots. Shivangi picks up the moves really quickly and then helps me out as well.”

Shivangi too is enjoying her stint as salsa teacher, “I never imagined in my wildest dreams that a co-star will turn me into a salsa teacher. Anyway, I have no complaints; it’s a fun experience. The sessions are turning out to be a cool way to kiss the work blues away and rejuvenate. My weakness for dance is legendary. I am always game to pick up a new dance form. Thanks to Mohsin I now know Salsa too”
