Following two back-to-back losses, Bengaluru FC will look to get back to winning ways when they host Aizawl FC in their ninth I-League tie for the season at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Sunday.

Knocked off their perch in the league table and currently third, BFC have struggled for consistency — one of the hallmarks of their previous seasons — this time around.

Add to that the AFC Cup loss to Lao Toyota on Wednesday and the strain involved in traveling from Laos, the home side will have quite a task at hand when they take on the Mizoram side, a state renowned for producing and providing top talent and who are coming off a win against Mumbai FC.

The return of captain Sunil Chhetri, who missed the last game with a niggle, and the pacy Udanta Singh from national duty will bode well for the hosts.
