Lil Wayne’s interview on the show Nightline might get him into trouble. Footage from the show that was released on Tuesday, shows the rapper talking about how he doesn’t feel connected to the movement, according to Independent.co.uk.
Lil Wayne reportedly said that he doesn’t like giving fatal police encounters catchy names. When asked if he feels connected to what is happening with African-Americans in the US, he said, “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothing to do with me. If you do, you crazy as sh*t. Not the camera, you (sic).”
This isn’t the first time he said something like this. A few months back, in an interview on the same show, the rapper spoke about how there is nothing like racism since there are a lot of white fans at his concert.
