Michael Douglas claims Val Kilmer has cancer

Veteran Hollywood actor Michael Douglas has reportedly confirmed that fellow actor Val Kilmer is battling tongue cancer.

According to The Sun, Michael was speaking at an event in London when he was asked about his The Ghost And The Darkness co-star Val. He said, “Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had (tongue cancer), and things don’t look too good for him. My prayers are with him. That’s why you haven’t heard too much from Val lately.”

The Dailymail.co.uk reported that Val had sparked rumours about health issues twice; first, when he suddenly put on weight in 2010, and then when he was spotted with a breathing tube in 2015.
