Learn the art of welding
One often comes across construction workers with protective masks over their faces and acetylene torches in their hands, welding metal rods together.
One often comes across construction workers with protective masks over their faces and acetylene torches in their hands, welding metal rods together. However, welding is not just restricted to the construction site. Arghadeep, whose passion is to weld together a new bike from old parts, loves to create sculptures with metal in his down time. He will be hosting a workshop at Makers Asylum, which will teach you to do the same.
The workshop will consist of welding theory and safety measures but there is also going to be a lot of hands-on practice. In fact, Arghadeep has kept the class size small so that each person gets some practice time and personalised help from the instructor. The only glitch — you have to be over 18 to attend.
Agrhadeep will be hosting his welding workshop today, 4 pm onwards, at Makers Asylum, Marol Industrial Estate, Andheri (E)
