On Saturday night, billionaire Russian entrepreneur and founder of Digital Skies Technologies, Yuri Milner held a screening of Indian mathematics genius, Srinivasa Ramanujan’s new biopic—The Man Who Knew Infinity—at his home in Silicon Valley. Joining him at the screening were the Valley’s who’s who including Sundar Pichai (CEO, Google), Sergey Brin (Founder, Google), Mark Zuckerberg (Founder, Facebook), Salman Khan (Khan Academy) and Brandon Irebe (Oculus Rift founder) to name a few.
Directed by Matthew Brown, the movie left most of the attendees teary-eyed, says a source. “So deeply moved was everybody by the film that when they walked out, some of them—like Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai—pledged to form a foundation for the mathematician who journeyed from anonymity in his little village in Tamil Nadu to everlasting fame in England.”
