Colours encompass the most joyous part of any Holi celebration. They not only add life and vitality to the festival but also manage to make the entire atmosphere get packed with positive energies and vibes.

Colours are symbolic in nature. Everything on the planet is colourful and narrate a tale of symbolism. In India, colours are held with great significance in auspicious celebrations and special occassions besides just playing Holi.

Red The colour has a very emotional connect and a high visibility quotient. Red is often used to evoke erotic feeling or for promoting something that reflect positive energy. It stands for joy, sexuality, passion, vigour, will power, courage, sensitivity and love. Thus, red is the colour for married couples, people in relationships, sportspersons, and men and women in the armed forces.

Green It is the colour of nature and hence it has a healing power. It can help to improve vision, skill, growth, harmony, money, honesty and well-being. Students, teenagers, people living away from family and the writers should preferably use the colour.
