Behind the perfect star studded look is a team of hardworking people who put their best foot forward in making the celebrity look desirable. Little does anybody know the amount of effort put by a celebrity stylist or a designer to make a look go viral.

Namratha Jauni, a well know celebrity costume designer and stylist who has been in the entertainment world for a while now explains what it takes to finalise the perfect outfit for a celebrity. She says, “While styling a celebrity, be it for an ad campaign or a film or an event, what matters the most is the comfort level of a celebrity. But It is not just the celebrity and the occasion that matters, what also matters is the target audience. What if it doesn’t go well with them? Styling doesn’t just mean outsourcing, it takes a lot of effort to put things in the right place and at the right time. One mistake here and there can cost you a fortune”.

Having the expertise of working with the who’s who from the industry has made the boss lady one of the celebrity favourites. Till date, Namratha has worked with celebrities like Irrfan Khan, Namratha has styled celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu, R Madhavan, Swara Bhaskar, Payal Rohatgi, Soha Ali Khan, Amyra Dastur, Manav Kaul to name a few and has also worked as a costume designer and stylist for films like Tanu weds Manu, Paan Singh Tomar, Madaari, Dil Kabaddi, Antahen, Dobaara, Kaash to name a few. She has done more than 15 TVC as a costume designer with Neil Nitin Mukesh and many other prominent brands like Asian Paints, Syska, Religare, and many more.
