Producer Jay Patel's film I'm Gonna Tell God Everything' screens at 50th IFFI
The film is based on true events in life of a five-year-old Yusuf and his family who were brutally killed by the militants.
An Indian-American Jay Patel with a vision to show the world some realistic cinema produced ‘I’m Gonna Tell God Everything’ focusing on the message of nonviolence and anti war. The film won Best Short Film Award at Norway Film Festival. The film’s special screening was organised at the 50th International Film Gestivka Festival of India in Goa.
The film is based on true events in life of a five-year-old Yusuf and his family who were brutally killed by the militants. The story is written by a popular Hollywood writer Katherine King. And coproduced by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
Speaking of the screening, Jay says, “We’re glad that our film got so much love and appreciation. And that we could send across the right message. When we were filming this, everyone on the sets were so emotional and put their more than 100 percent for this piece. The screening was a wonderful experience!! Everyone relished it and we are grateful…”
Hari K Vedantam has coproduced this along with being the DOP for this project.
