Kamal Nath to blow MP poll bugle at a rally today
The rally in which all the factional leaders are scheduled to take party is mulled to demonstrate unit in the party.
Bhopal: The newly-appointed president of Madhya Pradesh Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Kamal Nath is set to blow poll bugle for his party ahead of year-end Assembly elections in the state by leading a Congress rally here on Tuesday.
The nine-time MP from Chhindwara is scheduled to arrive here from Delhi on Tuesday morning and then lead a rally of party leaders and workers from the airport to the state Congress headquarters.
“The rally in which all the factional leaders are scheduled to take party is mulled to demonstrate unit in the party. The theme of the show has aptly been conceptualised as ‘hum sath sath hai’ (we are all united),” a party spokesperson told this newspaper.
“All the factional leaders such as AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, tribal leader and MP Kantilal Bhuria, and Suresh Pochouri have been ‘directed’ by AICC leadership to participate in the rally to send the message to the public and the party workers that Congress is united,” he said.
