Patna: Upset over being sidelined by the NDA constituents in Bihar, RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha is likely to announce his next move at the party’s rally in Motihari on December 6.
There is a buzz that Mr Kushwaha, who had given the BJP an ultimatum to resolve the issue of seat sharing among NDA partners by November 30, may take crucial decisions after discussing with Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) leaders before the rally.
“We wanted to meet the Prime Minister to discuss seat sharing and other issues. However, since there has been no response from the PMO, our party leaders are feeling sidelined. Mr Kushwaha will now take a final decision on the issue during our rally on December 6 in Motihari,” RLSP leader Jitendra Nath told this newspaper.
Reports suggest that Mr Kushwaha, who has been unhappy at being offered only two seats by the BJP, may consider Opposition leader Sharad Yadav’s offer to join mahagathbandhan (coalition) in Bihar.
