12 Naxals held for killing 9 CRPF jawans

Bhopal: Twelve Maoists, allegedly involved in blowing up an anti-landmine vehicle near Pallodi in Chhattisgarh’s south Bastar district of Sukma on March 13 in which 9 CRPF jawans were killed, were arrested in the area on Sunday.

According to Sukma police, all the 12 Maoists were arrested in Kistaram area by a joint search party.

Last week, nine ultras involved in the same incident were arrested in the same area, a senior police officer posted in Bastar said.

In another development, Maoists on Sunday hacked to death a tribal in a village in south Bastar district.
