Reports of possible crash received, however no wreckage found yet: IAF
The aircraft went missing hours after it took off from Jorhat, for Menchuka Advance Landing Ground in Arunachal Pradesh.
New Delhi: The Indian Air Force has now officially denied the media claims that suggested that the wreckage of AN-32 aircraft that lost contact at 1pm on Monday, and has said that search operations are still underway and will continue throughout the night.
Some reports of possible location of crash site were received, however, no wreckage has been sighted so far. 3/4

The IAF has also tweeted that they have enlisted the help and are coordinating with Indian Army, various government and civil agencies to locate the missing aircraft.
C-130J, AN-32 and Mi-17 of IAF and Indian Army ALH helicopter launched to locate the missing aircraft in and around the region it lost contact.
An IAF AN-32 took off from Jorhat at 1227 hrs for Menchuka ALG. Aircraft last contacted ground control at 1300 hrs. There was no further contact with the aircraft. Efforts are on to establish the whereabouts of the aircraft. 1/4

Search operations will continue from air and by ground parties of Indian Army through the night.
IAF has officially denied the media reports about the wreckage being found through its official Twitter handle.
The aircraft had taken off from Jorhat in Assam but lost contact with ground staff before its scheduled landing in Arunachal Pradesh's Menchuka airfield.
