People have made their mind to dethrone Raje govt: Sachin Pilot

Jaipur: Citing victory in local body bypolls, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sachin Pilot on Thursday said that people have made up their mind to give farewell to the ruling BJP.

After winning two Lok Sabha and one Assembly bypolls last month, the Congress has now won four out of six in zila parishad, 12 out of 20 in panchayat samiti and four out of six seats in local bodies.

Speaking to media on the launch of “Shakti”, the project to connect him with grassroots party workers, Mr Pilot pointed out that the victory was significant in the sense that the bypolls were held in 21 districts. It shows that across the state people are fed up with the government. After losing parliamentary by elections, the CM tried to lure people by a populist budget but the people have rejected it because they know that such populist announcement were made just to allure them.

According to Mr Pilot, it is for the BJP to take a decision about the chief minister but she has lost all moral authority to govern the state.
