MP IPS officer gets 5th posting in 3 years
Name of a minister in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan ministry has cropped up in the alleged scam.
Bhopal: A young IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, who has rubbed some ruling BJP leaders the wrong way by bringing to light a scandal recently, has been transferred five times in last three years. Gaurav Tiwari, a 2010 batch IPS officer, who has been posted as Chhindwara district superintendent of police (SP) last year, has been transferred as Ratlam district SP on Sunday.
Interestingly, he was earlier transferred Chhindwara to Dewas on June 30.
The order was however revised on Sunday asking him to join his new posting as SP of Ratlam district. Mr Tiwari had been transferred to Chhindwara a year ago in the wake of his exposure of hawala scandal when he was Katni district SP.
Name of a minister in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan ministry has cropped up in the alleged scam.
He has been posted in Balaghat, Katni, Chhindwara, Dewas and Ratlam as SP of these districts in the last three years. A video showing him breaking down after being transferred to Ratlam district has gone viral in social media.
