Yogi Adityanath immerses vajpayee's ashes in his village in Agra

Sources said that a tourist circuit will be developed in Bateshwar which will include a park and a series of temples.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Saturday, immersed the ashes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the Yamuna in his native village Batesh-war in Agra district.

The chief minister offered prayers at a temple on the banks of the Rani Ghat and then immersed the ashes.

The former Prime Minister’s son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya was present on the occasion. Later, Mr Adityanath also visited Mr Vajpayee’ house. where he had spent his childhood.. The house, spread over 60 square yards, is likely to be converted into a memorial for Mr Vajpayee.
