UP man dies from heart attack in bus, wife asked to get off with body
The elder brother of the deceased said that the driver and the bus conductor forced the deceased's wife to get down with his body.
Mumbai: A woman was forced to get off a roadways bus on Wednesday in UP after her husband suffered from a heart attack and died in the bus.
Raju Misra, 37, was travelling from Bahraich to Lucknow when he suffered from a heart attack during a journey. He died before he could get any help, IANS reported.
The elder brother of the deceased said that the driver and the bus conductor forced the deceased's wife to get down with his body.
He added saying that the bus ticket was also snatched from her.
However, the conductor denied allegations saying that the passenger complained of chest pain after Jarwal road.
He also claimed that a doctor was also travelling in the bus at the time but when he couldn't help much he decided to take Raju to a nearby doctor in Ram Nagar.
Ram Nagar Station Officer (SO) said the bus conductor informed him that the woman wanted to get off the bus with her husband but he asked the conductor to take him to the near hospital for further medico-legal procedures.
Mohd Irfan, assistant roadways manager (ARM) said he came to know about the incident through social media. He also said that an enquiry will be held in the matter.
Kiran Deep, a Twitterati reported about the incident to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Twitter after which the incident came into light.
