Youth PDP leader claims to escaping assassination
At least, four bullets hit the vehicle but no one on board was injured, the police was told.

Srinagar: A youth leader of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday said that he escaped an assassination attempt made by suspected militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s central Budgam district on Monday evening.
Abdul Waheed Para, the president of the PDP’s youth wing, told the police that he was on a visit of Budgam to attend a condolence meeting when gunmen targeted his bullet-proof Bolero vehicle with automatic rifles.
At least, four bullets hit the vehicle but no one on board was injured, the police was told.
