Lucknow: UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath will get a taste of his own government’s medicine when he gets to taste the ‘halwa’ sent to him by a group of women. The women, owing allegiance to the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), have sent ‘halwa’ that does not contain sugar to the chief minister.

They said that the halwa does not contain sugar because the distribution of sugar by the public distribution system (PDS) has stopped since April.  “We want the chief minister to feel how it feel to taste halwa that has no sugar,” said Seema Rana, general secretary of AIDWA.
