Bhubaneswar: Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday criticised the Odisha government for its poor preparedness in tackling Cyclone Titli and subsequent flood situation in different parts of the state.

In a Facebook post, Mr Pradhan also slammed Odisha food and consumer welfare minister Surya Narayan Patro’s “irresponsible” statements on the tragic Gajapati landslide incident in which 16 persons were killed.

Earlier, Mr Patro had stated that there was much less casualties during cyclone Titli in Odisha in comparison to the death of 170 people in similar natural disaster that occurred during the same time in the US.
