Chargesheet against JFK militant in Nabha jailbreak

New Delhi: The Delhi Police have filed a chargesheet against Harminder Singh alias Mintu, the main accused in the Nabha jailbreak case and alleged Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) terrorist, under unlawful activity, possession of arms and attacking  cops.

The police filed the chargehseet before the court of additional sessions judge Sidharth Sharma. The court is yet to take cognisance of the chargesheet. In the chargesheet, Mintu has revealed that prisoners lodged in the Nahba jail are not scared of the jail superintendents. “They roam freely in the jail area and do not follow any rule,” the chargesheet says. “One jammer has been installed at the Nabha Jail but it doesn’t not cover Reliance4G and the prisoners are openly using this network. Jail staff members are scared of the prisoners, many of whom have sound political contacts,” the chargesheet says.

The chargesheet reads that in 2007, Mintu went to Lahore where he met KJF chief Ranjeet Singh Nitta. Nitta later asked him to arrange for a dynamite to attack Mr Singh. Mintu then went back to Mumbai and arranged for 120kg dynamite, which was later allegedly used in the attack on Ram Rahim’s Ashram in Haryana.
