BJP's outreach: Yogi meets kin of Kargil martyr
Mr Adityanath on Friday also visited the residences of educationist Bhumitra Dev and Lt. Gen. R.P. Shahi (Retd).
Lucknow: A renowned cardiologist, father of a martyr, a theatre veteran, an educationist and a retired Army personnel were on the itinerary of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday when he set out on the “sampark for samarthan” programme of the BJP.
Accompanied by local legislators, the chief minister’s first stop was the residence of renowned cardiologist Mansoor Hasan, who is also a Padma Shri awardee.
Mr Adityanath told the cardiologist that the BJP believes in working for humanity and the downtrodden sections of society. He gave Dr Hasan a booklet listing the achie-vements of the four years of the Modi government. He also informed the doctor about the work done by his government in UP.
The chief minister’s next stop was the residence of Kargil martyr Capt. Manoj Pandey.
The chief minister met the martyr’s parents and other family members and also saw the room that has been developed as a memorial to the martyr.
In his next stop, the chief minister visited well-known theatre personality Raj Bisaria and then went to meet a retired judge, Justice H.N. Tilhari.

The “sampark for samarthan” programme has been started by BJP president Amit Shah and party leaders are required to visit the homes of eminent persons form different walks of life and appr-ise them of the government achievements.
