BJP cadres to get tips on wooing OBC voters

New Delhi: With an eye on the numerically-strong OBC community, the BJP plans to launch a training campaign next month onwards to teach its workers on how to effectively reach out to the community members. The OBCs had overwhelmingly supported the party on 2014 Lok Sabha polls. And through this training campaign, the BJP will impart tips to its workers on how to effectively reach out to community members.

The party on Monday held a session with OBC party members from various states to get feedback. At least one training session will be held in each state, but in UP and Bihar, which have significant OBC population, more sessions will be organised.
