HC seeks Lalu's medical reports from AIIMS

The Jharkhand high court on Friday sought the medical report of RJD chief Lalu Yadav who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS at New Delhi.

Patna: The Jharkhand high court on Friday sought the medical report of RJD chief Lalu Yadav who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS at New Delhi.

The high court gave the orders while hearing Lalu’s bail petition in connection with a case related to illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.31 crores from Dumka treasury.

“The high court has sought Lalu’s medical reports and has asked the CBI to file a counter affidavit,” the RJD chief’s lawyer Prabhat Kumar told reporters in Ranchi on Friday. Lalu has so far been convicted in four fodder scam cases was shifted to AIIMS for medical treatment last month.
